i went out for my first post marathon run today at lunch. i mustered 8:15 pace but have realized that my quads are completely shot at the moment. it felt like i was lugging around lead in my legs as i had no knee lift…or better stated as even less knee lift than normal.
i’ve received notice that pictures of my marathon monday effort have been posted at marathonfoto.com.
this week i’m just aiming to get in some miles and loosen up the legs. on the horizon, i’m aiming for a 10M run in mid-june. i’ll likely need a tune up race (or two) to get the confidence back and shake off some rust.
