this morning i was headed down to the glacial drumlin trail when i spotted a coyote running across the road. he spotted me first and was headed toward the bushes. i half expected to see a pile of bird seed in the middle of the road with a "FREE" sign perched on top.
thankfully, no bird seed was spotted and no anvils made by the ACME Co. fell in my general direction. it did give me extra reason to pick up the pace a bit, on the off chance that Wile E. was hungry for breakfast.
i ended up heading down the glacial drumlin trail towards town and turned around at bethesda park in 29:30. doubling back over my original path, i headed back up the glacial drumlin trail in 26:40 and hit the shower. it was awful muggy today with temps in the low 70’s.
yesterday, i ran 7 miles mostly on university avenue. my gps watch needed its battery charged so i didn’t get a time on the effort. like today, it was muggy with temps in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.
