back on the wagon

i’m in chicago for two nights for a conference. i took advantage of staying just north of grant park to take a run down by the lake this morning. it was a bit muggy with temps in the mid sixties. i headed south from navy pier passing a marina and made the turn around at the shedd aquarium. the pace is still slow since my legs still feel like lead. i ended up with about 45 minutes of running, which is more than enough at this point.

it’s nice to start getting habitual again. i ran 5 miles on both monday and tuesday of this week, at a miserably slow pace. my goal for the moment is to focus on being habitual and not get too wrapped up on pace. as i continue to recover from boston and the 30K, the legs will come back.
