ten clicks with one big hill

i opted to run in town today and nearly became a hood ornament due to a driver that felt their stop sign was merely advisory in nature. i stood at the corner and applauded as they drove by with a cigarette in hand (at around 6am). regardless, i opted to climb the hill at glacial cone park before returning home. it’s about a quarter mile long and goes straight up. i found this photo on flickr that gives you a view from the top of the hill in the fall. in the end, i collected 6.25 miles on my GPS watch and retired to the shower.
